The launch of special spouted pouches for hair colour developers. They can release excess gas and water vapour equally to keep the concentrations of the contents constant during usage.

The solvent resistant spouted pouches debuted in the form of ink cartridges for industrial inkjet printers.

The flexible packaging business split-off from Showa Marutsutsu as a separate company named PacPlus Co.,Ltd. (100% owned by Showa Marutsutsu Co., Ltd.)

The Osaka plant moved to a new site in Kano-cho, Higashi-Osaka city.
A new attaching/detaching mechanism "Smart Screw" for Clean Clic® Dispenser was developed.

The alcohol sanitizer using Clean Clic® trigger spray dispenser with "Smart Screw" received a prize of JAPAN STAR at Japan Packaging Contest.

The head office moved to Tenma, Kita-ku, Osaka City due to business expansion.
Debut of "SST-5" spouts. The special nozzle shape of SST-5 enabled liquid drip-prevention and flow-rate regulation. Suitable also for viscous liquids such as hair colour cream developers.
2016
The hair care product using "Clean Clic System®" won the Good Packaging/Packaging Idea Award in the Japan Packaging Contest.
A special laminated film was developed for hair dye packages with strong alkali resistance.
